Drop Zone

It will be three from Wigan, Bolton, Blackburn, Wolves and QPR who go down. I think that the three to go will be, Wigan- have had their time with the big boys and their half filled stadium won’t be missed. Wolves - letting big Mick go was a mistake he knows what it takes to get out of a relegation mess. Wolves thought they would get in a big name after him in fact they got his assistant. Bolton – have been awful all season how Coyle has got away with it is beyond me.

Blackburn will survive by the skins of their teeth and QPR because they have more talent in their side than the rest but they have underachieved massively.

QPR - Who is to blame

It looks like QPR will be playing Championship football next season after a disappointing & gutting draw against Wigan on Sunday. After going down to 10 men when Bobby Zamora foolishly got himself sent off, Rangers took the lead with a goal by Lioc Remy who has been nothing more then sensational for QPR. However they let themselves down once again by giving away a free kick in the dieing seconds where Shaun Maloney curled it in to the top corner. As the silence fell at Loftus Road realisation was for the fans they knew there's no way they can crawl there way back and survive from this.   So who is to blame for the carnage of a season QPR have had:   1. Mark Hughes - This is the man who last season said 'We will never be in this position again with me in charge' Well he was right, in fact it was a even worse position.  Hughes wasted big money on players who simply didn't care & were just their for a final pay day. English sides in Champions League..

A look at the English sides in Champions League action this week. Real Madrid v Liverpool  Out of form Liverpool head to Madrid which was always going to be the toughest game of the group. They were given a footballing master class at Anfield by the current European Champions as they won 3-0. Madrid are on a 11 game winning streak in all competitions and I only see that continuing. Liverpool are struggling, Mario Balotelli hasn't lived up to the hype, while Gerrard is struggling this season and it looks like he will be rested, or in other words 'dropped'. There is a clear over reliance on Raheem Sterling, if you keep him quite you keep Liverpool quite. They still can't defend, which cost them their first ever Premier League title. I see Real Madrid winning this 4-0 with Ronaldo scoring the first. Arsenal v Anderlecht  Arsenal could practically seal their place in the knock-out stages of the Champions League with a win here.
