Player Of The Year - So Far

As we head into the busy Christmas period I have a quick look at a few early contenders to who have been my player of the year.

Jamie Vardy - Leicester City

Is this really happening? Vardy form has been sensational, record breaking and to be truthful, unexpected. Vardy has shocked the world with his performances this season and it doesn't look like it will stop any time soon. I expect him to break 20 goals this season with ease and has to be on the plane to the Euro 2016.

Odion Ighalo - Watford

Scored 20 goals in the Championship last season and has taken to the Premier League like a duck to water. He's scored 7 times this season and settled in to top flight life a lot easier then Deeney who I thought would excel. So it's so far so good for the Nigerian striker.

Dimitri Payet - West Ham United

Unfortunately he's out for 3 months but hopefully he can return to the form he left in. He plays the much loved 'West Ham Way' and has lit up the league especially when West Ham won at Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City.

Mesut Ozil - Arsenal

11 assists so far in the league this season and probably one of Arsenal's most consistent attacking players. However he should score more he defiantly has the talent. Arsenal in the league have done very well and look like they could challenge they will need Ozil, just don't get injured.

Harry Kane - Tottenham

Not a one season wonder by the looks of it. Kane is looking like as a former Spurs manager would say, 'top top player' Again if he stays fit should break 20 league goals and head to the Euros as one of the young lions full of confidence.
