QPR Win or Bust

QPR have had some lows in their time & Charlton away on Saturday was just another difficult blow for some fans to take. Expectations are high at QPR the drop from the Premier League hurt but QPR had the team, resources, owners and manager to mount a title challenge this year. That's why they were favourites, but QPR's automatic promotion hopes are fading fast.  Redknapp is now getting more flack then ever now. His choice in the 'right sort of player', & 'ball players' have been supported by the fans. They have seen fan favourites leave & others come in mostly over 30 years-old. Now it can be seen this crop of players don't have the heart and passion of the Warnock side that won this league in 2011. Now QPR have lost a lot of key players due to injury, but Redknapp has had more then enough time to replace them with quality, what he did was just bring in numbers.  Leeds at home next is massive, if they lose it would be a 4th defeat in a row whi...

Mata - And The Team Of The Year So Far

I said Manchester United needed a boost and the signing of Jaun Mata is that. He's needed so desperately as United's creativity as disappeared into thin air. He will give the club a much needed rise as all they can really aim for is a top four finish. I said earlier in the week Moyes needed a big signing, this could be a Ozil like deal for the Red Devils, the impact he will have could be massive. It also looks like now Rooney wants to stay which is another boost to Man United. Team of the year so far Szczesny Zabaleta Koscienly Terry Shaw Januzaj Ramsey Yaya Toure Hazard Suarez Aguero

Premier League Quick Fire Update

I haven't wrote a blog in a while so here's my quick fire views on what's happening in the Premier League world.  Arsenal find themselves top of the table, can they really win the league or will Arsenal blow up in sensational fashion like they tend to do/ I think they will find a way to mess up this great opportunity in winning the Premier League.  Man City are scoring goals for fun its a joke, I can't see anyone beating them at home but I will stick with my original pick of Chelsea winning the title. Chelsea look like the Chelsea of old under Jose just grinding their way through teams. I thought Liverpool would have fallen by now but the performances of Suarez has kept them in the top four. Sturridge has also been playing out of his skin. Sherwood seems to be getting the right tune out of Tottenham with Adebayor back in the fold.  David Moyes is having a tough time getting slated left right and centre, he does need a boo...

Forwards Danny Welbeck (Man Utd) Wayne Rooney (Man Utd) Daniel Sturridge (Liverpool) Rickie Lambert (Southampton) Jermain Defoe (Tottenham) Could Go: Rob Green World Cup experience, even though it didn’t go that well he has been in form this season, if it continues his experience could play a roll with a lot of young keepers around him. Andy Carroll How he comes back from injury will be vital, he’s better then Lambert but if not fit there’s no point bringing him. Ravel Morrison Impressive start to th...

Record Breaking Rangers....

QPR have had the best start they could have wished for in the Championship, after the debacle of last season the Super Hoops are joint top, undefeated in the league and have kept 8 clean sheets in a row. A club record for Rob Green, they now have a ‘team’ not just ‘individuals’. Charlie Austin is now finding the net. Hoilett scares defenders in this league with his pace and Barton has not put a foot wrong so far this season. Danny Simpson and Richard Dunne have been sensational at the back & we have seen the usual solid performances from Hill too. If Harry can keep QPR in the top 4 up in till Christmas I’m sure they will spend wisely again in January and it could be an instant return to the top flight.
