FA CUP FINAL PREVIEW

Arsenal will be looking to become the 13 time FA Cup winners this weekend as they take on London rivals Chelsea at Wembley Stadium. There third final in four years, the Gunners will be seeking some joy on what has been a difficult season.

Standing in their way, Chelsea who are hunting down a double, which they last did (this double League & FA Cup) in 2010. Both teams have great records at the 'new' Wembley & will be quite comfy in their surroundings. For Arsenal they will be without Laurent Koscielny & Gabriel at the back. Which is a shame for the neutral as they don’t like Diego Costa could have made fun viewing. Chelsea should really be at full strength.

No top four for Arsenal is a huge blow, Champions League qualification is what they lived on, and for a team who is fragile most of the time a defeat against Chelsea could have severe repercussions.

Arsene Wenger’s position has never been under such threat, the toxic atmosphere through the season has grown and grown. This at times had made some funny You Tube videos through the season from a certain fan channel. Maybe sometimes the negativity has even spread to the pitch, so a FA Cup victory could either buy Wenger some time or send him off into the sunset.

Chelsea though will come into the match full of confidence, a Premier League title in Antonio Conte’s first season he could land an impressive double. After last week’s cheesy, cringe worthy, sickening or well deserved John Terry send off (depends if you like Chelsea or not really) focus will be locked in again, back to the serious stuff now. Chelsea are the favourites and rightly so. They steamed through the league campaign. For Arsenal its huge this game could it be Wenger and even Alexis Sanchez’s last game. An Arsenal win could paper over what has been a forgettable season. It’s the same for Chelsea with Costa, he could end up in China this summer so a farewell for him too.

I don’t think Arsenal will have enough to stop this Chelsea side. There strong and powerful in all areas. I can see lots of goals in this one, so an extra time victory for Chelsea is what I will go for.

What that means for Wenger God only knows, what it means for Chelsea is simply the Blues back on top of English football, and you know the clubs in Manchester are watching.

Premier League 2015/16 Preview

Arsenal The Gunners are now running out of excuses to mount a serious title challenge. They have money, they have spent it, they have brought in one of the best keepers in the Premier League (Cech) so now can Arsenal finally go the distance and challenge again? We have seen them start slow then once the pressure is off end the season strong. Or they start fast then come to February time and crumble. What will we get this year? I will say Arsenal will do a lot better this year and get a lot closer to the number one spot points wise. An impressive pre season topped with Community Shield success their looking good, however I have them finishing 3rd this year. Key Man: Alexis Sanchez after what was an impressive first season in English football scoring 16 goals, Sanchez spent his summer guiding Chile to their first Copa America. Chelsea, Hazard, BallBoy, Out of control

Chelsea once again made the headlines for all the wrong reasons this week. Eden  Hazard was the latest player to drag the clubs name through the dirt. The Belgium star kicked a ballboy who refused to return the ball  quickly back to the player in the Capital One Cup semi final match. Now we know this ballboy was in fact 17 years-old and what he is doing as a ballboy is a different story. They are supposed to retrieve the ball as fast as possible to the players. This one let it slide by him and took his time, fell on it and that’s when the incident occurred. After a bit of shoving Hazard kick the ballboy and ball from under him and ran off to re-start the match. It doesn’t matter what he wrote on Twitter about time wasting beforehand it was an empty tweet from a teen.
