Could Go:
Rob Green
World Cup experience, even though it didn’t go that well he has been in form this season, if it continues his experience could play a roll with a lot of young keepers around him.
Andy Carroll
How he comes back from injury will be vital, he’s better then Lambert but if not fit there’s no point bringing him.
Ravel Morrison
Impressive start to the season could be the wild card like Theo was in 2006. If he continues to shine he may be the lucky wild card.
Mark Noble
If you look at the last England captain to take his country to a competitive final, he is your man. He does pass the ball well but what is crucial he can take a penalty.
Wilfred Zaha
Not the best of starts at United, but he is in a great position, if he does perform well for United with all the other English men around him, Hodgson will take notice.
Alex Oxlade- Chamberlain
Needs to play games for Arsenal to make himself noticed, he can play wide, centre and midfield. His pace is dangerous especially as a sub.
Frank Lampard
Tough for Frank, he has so many youngsters in his place now, he does deserve another shot at a major tournament but it will depend on his Chelsea form, injuries and do we really need him.
